Do you ever think that you'd love to go to dinner and a movie, but just can't afford to? Well my savings tip is the following:
We have a Malco movie theater and to go to the movies (for an adult) it costs:
before 4pm = $6/person
between 4pm and 5pm (twilight showing) = $5/person
after 5pm = $8/person
Then going out to dinner can cost at least $15/person.
So if you decide that you want to go to dinner and then a movie (for 2) it's going to cost you at least $50 for one date night! How ridiculous! So to save the following is my suggestion:
Go to the movies first, between 4 and 5pm and get the twilight discount ($5/person) and THEN go to dinner afterwards and find some place in town that you can get the $25 gift certificate for and pay $2 (when they have the 80% off deals) from Restaurant.com. Also, when you go through ShopAtHome you'll get another 24% cash back...so instead of paying $2 you'll actually pay $1.52 for a $25 gift certificate.
**Most restuarants have a minimum dollar amount that you must spend in order to use the $25 gift certificate, so make sure you read the fine print.
**On any normal day you can get the $25 gift certifcates for $4. Just keep an eye out for those 80% off days!
